Memory Lane! I lived in Toronto for 25+ years, all in the city centre. You passed by a few places I lived. Seaton St. which is parallel with sherbourne, lovely Victorian homes. I lived between Dundas and Shuter, some of the earliest homes in Toronto. Our basement was haunted as was a few houses down. The apartments at 387-388 have no architectural value, so I have doubts they will be retained. I once had an apartment viewing in 88, 1 bedroom. The super was something out of a 70's sitcom, dirty 'wife-beatr' 5'3" 350ibs, NO NECK, hadn't shaved in a week, balding. The apartment is at the very end of the hallway, north corner. The place is strangely quiet, he says the furnace is off and he's working on it, I didn't asked about the sour mop smell. As he opened the door, he says he hasn't cleaned up yet. Again only on tv or movies. It was obvious it was a drug den for a short time.Half of a sofa, chainsawed half! Garbage everywhere of course. Rotting food. The best was the huge chip out of the toilet. I told him I had other viewings. I did live around 430, and in 3 different apartments in St Jamestown. I also lived up in Rosedale and the Annex.

So cool to watch. My husband and I rented a house for several years at Dundas and Mutual across from the roller skating arena during the 80s. I think it has all been redeveloped now. Lots of great memories there. I was born in Regent Park and grew up in Riverdale so this is my hood. We eventually moved up to Church and Alexander and then Costa Rica. Love your videos. This one was especially fun to watch. 😊

2:10:05 I like seeing your Live Stream ending in front of the Metro Supermarket (near Ryerson/TMU). It brings back memories for me. When I lived in the neighbourhood, Metro was my favourite grocery store. I frequently shopped there. Although FreshCo at Parliament & Dundas is cheaper, the food & environment wasn't as nice. Although Loblaw at Church & Carlton is bigger and has more selections, it's expensive and crowded.😀

Well, I am going to admit, I did finally turn on the hockey game ... and the last 8 minutes were heartbreaking. Should have known better. Sigh.

I'm surprised at how calm and uncrowded the city looks on such a nice day.

lol @ fart can cars. I wonder if its my neighbour. I heard a car like that go by around 6 and I'm near the airport. Do they not realize its a timing issue or do they think it sounds cool?
